Position: Business Development Representative

Most companies struggle to have visibility and alignment across Marketing (MQL’s), Sales (SQL’s), and Customer Success teams. ayeQ is seeking strong contributors that will help us advance our messaging and reach as we push to transform and penetrate the B2B software market.
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in growing and building the ayeQ pipeline to generate leads and opportunities while working closely with the ayeQ Executive team. In addition to building pipeline, you will also have the opportunity to participate in direct sales as you master the ayeQ message. Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities via inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements and schedule meetings
- Generate qualified leads and route them to appropriate account executive for further development
- Work with ayeQ Executive Team to bring opportunities to close sales
- Research accounts, identify key players and personas, and generate interest
- Project manage inside sales process and maintain and expand ayeQ database within CRM
- Build product knowledge and be able to respond to prospect questions
Skills and Experience
- Proven 2+ years of inside sales or outside sales experience in the B2B software space
- Proven success in a role with measurable targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Experience and previous success with prospect and selling via phone
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic including a positive and can-do attitude
- Must be comfortable having detailed conversations with targeted senior executive roles, including COO, CRO and others
- Ability to grow cross-functional relationships
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively, and problem solve
- Experience with Salesforce.com (or similar) CRM preferred
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Background check and references required
